Our story
Creating champions
since 2015.
I want to tell you the story of Goico Cross Bikes, a passion turned into personalized coaching for your kids!
BMX Freestyle was the start of my journey in BMX cycling. I spent over 8 years training, taking part in international camps and competing in exciting events. Thanks to this discipline, I had the chance to visit many countries, discover new cultures and grow as a person. But I also realized that in our beloved country, the Dominican Republic, there was a real shortage of this sport in general.
It was in 2012 that I got into bicross, at Centro Olímpico. That same year they started building the track, and it opened in 2013. This discipline captivated me from the start, since it was closely related to freestyle, the only difference being that it was racing on a bike instead of jumping. That's how I began my career as a bicross athlete in 2013, traveling to many countries, racing several times a year and gaining valuable experience. I had the chance to visit international schools, teach classes, receive training and enjoy unforgettable camps.
Over time, my passion and commitment grew as I realized there were very few options to teach something I loved so much. So I trained with international coaches, benefited from online mentoring and completed the international UCI level 1 cycling coach course.
"In 2015, the Goico Cross Bikes Academy officially came to life, fully committed to the professional development of our future riders."
The goal is to raise high-quality riders and build confidence in every child who joins us, and of course the peace of mind of the parents who trust us with their greatest treasure to teach them this beautiful discipline.
Join our school and let us help your kids discover their true potential in the exciting world of bicross!
